Objectives of Mangkhap festival

Festival>Mangkhap>Objectives

The main objectives of Mangkhap festival are:

  1. To acknowledge Varivara (almighty God) for the blessing and protection through paddy plantation.
  2. As some of them might not have the chance of eating the cultiivated crop, so in Mangkhap they eat, feast and rest after the hard work of  paddy plantation season. So, that even if they din't get a chance to eat the cultivated crop they may be satisfied with what they had during Mangkhap celebration.
